How will you vote in every moment?
One of the most crucial resources I have is to remember, in each moment, that I have a vote. There are many things over which I have no agency. Yet! Insofar as I am dancing with this moment, I can bring all the forces of who I am to bear. I can lean in and vote to direct the flow around me. It is possible to tilt the odds toward the world and the values we each find beautiful and hold dear! It is possible to be a yes. (A little bit like acupuncture!)
It’s possible to choose the direction of flow of my attention and all manner of things which affect state of being in every instance. And so - why the picture of the bridge? I witnessed something extraordinary happen on this New Zealand bridge that is a constant reminder to me that there are powerful choices to be made, mobilizing unseen forces, that do shape our reality.
A bridge is a channel which directs the flow, not only of traffic but also of intent. To cross a bridge is an act of faith. In a sense, you are trusting the bridge to be safe and sound. Building a bridge is an act of intent, of power, mastery, and beauty. Bridges bring worlds together. At any moment, you can choose to stop when crossing a bridge and take in the earth, the sky, the water. Look directly at where you have been, where your path is leading. Turn around, get off that bridge, or carry on. Every moment is your choice.
Wayfarer...
In the case of this cinematographer turned web designer, I have come upon a person who is a treasure. His story is remarkable, the quality of his work and his range of skills brilliant and exquisite. His unusual life growing up and working in many cultures of the world, as well as his personal story that took him to death’s door and back, make Corey a special person to know and work with. Depth and dimension like this is rare to find, and that’s why I am writing about it and promoting him.
